Fitting Guides

Holder Kit Includes:

• Front Plate
• Backing Plate
• 2x Allen Key Headed Bolts (40mm or 70mm)
• 2x Nuts (10mm)
•  Protective Bolt Tubing

Requirments:

• 10mm Spanner or Socket
• Flat Headed Screwdriver
• 4mm Allen Key/Hex drive
• Patience
• Drill and 10mm bit (dependent)

BMW MINI (1st Gen) :

Fitting the badge holder to the 1st Gen MINI is very simple, Open up the bonnet half way giving you access to both the front and back of your grille. Put the bolts through the two counter sunk holes on the front plate, then fit the protective tubing over the bolts.

Slide the bolts through the grille in the desired area then fit the back plate on the inner side of the grille, after that fit the nuts and tighten.

BMW MINI (2nd Gen):

To fit the badge holder to the 2nd Gen MINI, you must 1st remove the grille, however this isn't as hard as it sounds.

Open up the bonnet and pull out the four pins on the top of the grille, pull open the tabs on either side, and finally reach under and pull the tabs on the bottom of the grille. Once this is done the entire grille should come away from the car. Two 10mm hole must be drilled in the back of the grille 25mm apart to allow the bolts to pass through. Line up the front plate in the desired position on the grille and allow the bolts to slide through the drill holes and to the back of the grille, slide on the backing plate and fit the nuts, then tighten it all up using a 10mm Allen key and a 10mm spanner or socket.

Once this is done re-attach your grille using the reverse of the instructions.

Classic Mini:

Very quick and simple to fit to Classic Minis, just put two the bolts through the front plate holes, slide the bolts through the grille in the area that you want it, then feed the back plate through the bolts ion the other side of the grille (plenty of tinkering space) fit nuts and tighten up.

Other vehicles:

Now there are alot of cars out there so there is no way we can test all makes and models, however the badge holder can fit most vehicles with a grille that is accessable from the back, weather it be the upper or lower grille, around the fog lights, or any other grille area you can think of.

After finding the area on your car you wish the fit your holder, line up the front plate in the desired position on the grille and allow the bolts to slide through to the back of the grille, slide on the backing plate and fit the nuts, then tighten it all up using a 10mm Allen key and a 10mm spanner or socket.
